AFAIK it’s the real deal.

I doubt it’s real, originals are worth $160k+. Pretty expensive car to take to church.

So you’ve never seen a 911 or similar sportscar at a church?

Ok true. That is seriously clean for a 2nd gen.

I haven’t looked, that would require going to church. Although I see your point.

If that’s in Germantown or that general area it is one of the richest zip codes in the entire United States. I live in the 2nd richest zip code in Tennessee and one of the guys down the street has an original Ford GT. Also this Porsche Speedster is for sale about 7 minutes down the street. Worth about 200k

I don’t know if the car is fake, I assume cars that are often replicated are fake if I see one. I live in California and see expensive cars all the time, but I also see replica 356's, GT40s and Cobras too. Even replica 356's are still $40,000 novelty items.

It’s real. The only kits people build are Speedsters and now there’s a company building replica 356A (‘56-’59) coupes. This is an SC from ‘64 or ‘65 that has the 95hp engine which is basically the same engine from the Super 90 and later went into the 912, and it also has disc brakes. The only thing non original about a lot of these cars may be the engine which some owners prefer to upgrade to a 912 motor.

Pretty sure it is. Owner is client of my brother’s old boss and also owns a heavily tuned 930 and a few other nice Porsches.

Either way it's pretty sweet.

My church is in 38138 (the super rich ZIP code is 38139) but you can still see some nice stuff running around. However, you can see Phanton EWBs running around on the reg in 38139.

38139 is just so much more rich it doesn’t make sense. Where do they all work? I’m in 37027 and that’s either 2nd or 3rd. The normal car here are fuly loaded Yukon/Suburban and hgiher end Mercedes/Lexus.
![]() 05/16/2016 at 12:05 |

Yeah, y’all are second per my source, and 38139 is third. 1st is Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. Another source says a ZIP in downtown Chatt is the richest ZIP in te Southeast, and it has an average income of like $865k but there's only 19 tax returns in the whole ZIP.

Lol that's not even fair to measure it by. The average income of our entire county is in the 70k range and the City is 120-130k range. 30k people. That's how they should measure it by.

Franklin??

Brentwood. Franklins a bit less influencial overall but that’s where the richest of the rich seem to live.

Well yeah at one point there were two veyrons registered there.

My sister took a picture of the 2 together a few years go haha. Had no idea what they were but she said they looked cool so she clicked it. Theres a guy named Ian who has some stupid cars. I think he has had 3 Aventadors at this point and I can’t remember if it was him or the other guy who just bought a ‘06 Ford GT a few months ago with 365 miles on it JUST so e could order a new one.

Damn. My brother’s friends is a valet but he knows nothing about cars. He was valeting in Green Hills and took a picture of a Veyron because he thought “it looked weird.”

The Nashville car scene is underrated to say the least.

Well, Memphis’s is godawful so at least you have something.
